Smith planned to return to Valdosta later Friday and remain there for his brother's funeral Saturday. Smith will fly to Detroit in time for Sunday's game against the Lions,Blake Swihart Jersey.

Smith attended meetings and took part in the team's walkthrough Friday. Smith's brother was shot and killed in their hometown of Valdosta, Georgia, on Sunday. Smith traveled home Monday and missed several days of practice and meetings. Adding to his emotional week,Babe Ruth Jersey, Smith's girlfriend gave birth to their son Wednesday.
